أسس المركز عام 2020 بهدف مواكبة التجربة الانتخابية في العراق والانخراط في متابعتها عن كثب، ويعمل بوصفه منصة متخصصة في البحث والتحليل وصياغة السياسات الهادفة إلى تعزيز نزاهة العملية الانتخابية وشفافيتها وكفاءتها في العراق.

ومن خلال قسم الدراسات الانتخابية، يجري المركز أبحاثا أكاديمية وميدانية معمقة تسهم في رفع الوعي بالممارسات الديمقراطية ونشر الثقافة الانتخابية المستنيرة بين أفراد المجتمع.

كما أطلق المركز قسم التدريب وبناء القدرات، الذي يختص بتطوير الكفاءات المهنية في مختلف مجالات العمل الانتخابي، ويدار من قبل كوادر مؤهلة وذات خبرة، لتقديم برامج تدريبية متخصصة تهدف إلى تعزيز القدرات المؤسسية ودعم التطور المستمر للبنية الديمقراطية في العراق.

Established in 2020, the Center was founded with the mission of closely observing and engaging with Iraq’s evolving electoral experience. It serves as a platform for research, analysis, and policy development aimed at advancing the integrity, transparency, and efficiency of the electoral process in Iraq.

Through its Electoral Studies Division, the Center conducts rigorous academic and field-based research designed to enhance public understanding of democratic practices and promote an informed voting culture

In addition, the Center has launched a Training and Capacity-Building Department dedicated to developing professional expertise in all aspects of electoral work. Operated by qualified and experienced staff, this department provides tailored training programs to strengthen institutional capabilities and support the continuous improvement of Iraq’s democratic infrastructure.
